Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Analyst Supervisor to lead a team of analysts focused on improving learner engagement, retention, and outcomes through data in a fast-paced EdTech environment. In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of education and technology—supporting data-driven decisions that shape how students learn, progress, and succeed on our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of data analysts working across key areas such as learner engagement, platform usage, content performance, and personalization.
• Partner with product managers, educators, curriculum designers, and marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data projects.
• Oversee the creation of dashboards and reports that track essential KPIs such as course completion rates, student retention, user satisfaction, and content effectiveness.
• Perform hands-on analysis using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools to derive insights from large datasets related to learner behavior and platform performance.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with education privacy standards (e.g., FERPA, GDPR).
• Support A/B testing, learning experiments, and user segmentation strategies to evaluate educational interventions and product features.
• Guide the team in creating clean, well-documented analytics processes and reproducible workflows.
• Communicate complex findings in an understandable, engaging way to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and ethical data use in the context of education.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Education Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R) for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Experience working with learner data, digital engagement metrics, or platform analytics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to coach others and communicate findings clearly.
