Acadeum’s Course Share platform aggregates available seats in online courses and manages cross registration, securely and seamlessly sharing data and dollars between participating institutions.

Job Description

The Director of Partnership Development will play a fundamental role in achieving Acadeum’s ambitious client and revenue growth goals. The ideal candidate is comfortable making daily calls to educational institutions and corporate (Workforce) partners for assigned sales territory, working with affinity partners, generating interest in the Acadeum product suite, qualifying prospects and closing assigned accounts on their own.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the benefits of Acadeum’s product suite and overall value proposition to potential customers.
  • Manage and lead affinity group partnerships as assigned to develop a sales pipeline and nurture relationships to promote collaboration
  • Attend conferences as the Acadeum representative
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Coordinate and attend in-person and Zoom meetings to close deals
  • Understand customer needs and translate into opportunities to leverage Acadeum products
  • Develop sales scripts and drip email campaigns to engage prospects and set appointments
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly/annual sales quotas
  • Research accounts and identify key players to generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Collaborate with Partner Success Managers and leadership to support the close of deals as needed and to surface trends
  • Collaborate with Partner Success Managers for successful customer transition of all new deals, including managing account until onboarding handoff that includes coordinate of all campus stakeholders
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Manage all deal activity in CRM (Hubspot)
  • May include special project assignments
  • May include supervisory responsibilities

Requirements include:

  • Sales Acumen: Proven experience in inside and outside sales, with a track record of consistently exceeding quotas.
  • Higher Education Focus: Experience selling products within the higher education sector.
  • Strong Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a high comfort level for daily calls and Zoom presentations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in using a CRM like HubSpot and other web presentation tools.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage your time effectively.
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent is required.
