POSITION SUMMARY
Accelerate Learning is seeking an Agile Delivery Manager / Release Manager who is a core member of the Agile Delivery Team and serves as a hands-on Scrum Master for one or more product and engineering teams. This role blends team-level Scrum facilitation and Agile coaching with cross-team release and deployment planning and governance.
The role is accountable for improving delivery outcomes, enabling Agile maturity, and orchestrating well-coordinated releases. This position does not execute deployments or build CI/CD pipelines; instead, it ensures teams and stakeholders are aligned, prepared, and operating effectively.
This individual will have hands-on experience as a Scrum Master and project manager in a software development organization, balancing servant leadership with delivery accountability. Future projects may include supporting new features on existing products, new product development, and process improvement efforts.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Scrum Master & Agile Coaching - Serve as Scrum Master for assigned teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies
- Coach teams and Product Owners on Agile and Scrum principles and practices
- Help teams improve flow, predictability, estimation, and delivery quality
- Identify and remove impediments impacting team effectiveness
- Foster continuous improvement, accountability, and healthy team dynamics
Release & Deployment Planning - Own release and deployment planning across multiple teams and products
- Maintain an integrated release calendar aligned to product roadmaps and business milestones
- Coordinate deployment sequencing across environments (UAT, staging, production)
- Lead release readiness reviews and facilitate go/no-go decisions for biweekly deployments
- Ensure rollback, contingency, and communication plans are defined and understood
Cross-Functional Coordination - Identify and proactively manage cross-team dependencies and delivery risks
- Communicate delivery status, timelines, scope changes, and release impacts clearly to stakeholders
- Support major launches by aligning technical delivery with enablement, training, and documentation
Metrics, Process & Continuous Improvement - Track and report on Agile delivery and release health metrics
- Use retrospectives and data to drive improvement at the team and program level
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to improve release visibility and operational readiness
- Contribute to the evolution of Agile delivery standards and practices within the Agile Delivery Team

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
REQUIRED Skills and Experience (must have): - 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project or Program Manager, Release Manager, or similar role
- Demonstrated experience acting as a hands-on Scrum Master
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and modern software delivery practices
- Proven experience planning and coordinating releases across multiple teams
- Proficiency with Jira (or similar tool) and Agile delivery tooling
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and maintain focus under pressure
PREFERRED Skills and Experience (nice to have): - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or subscription-based software organizations
