About this role:
The Solution Consultant is a customer-facing Professional Services role responsible for configuring and delivering Fonteva solutions that align customer business objectives with the capabilities of the Fonteva and Salesforce platforms. As a trusted advisor, the Solution Consultant leads discovery, owns customer user stories, translates business needs into effective solutions, and performs declarative configuration to deliver successful customer outcomes. This role partners closely with Solution Architects, Developers, Project Managers to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with platform best practices.
What you'll do:
- Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business objectives, document requirements, and own user stories throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Design scalable business solutions and configure the Fonteva and Salesforce platforms using declarative capabilities to meet customer requirements to ensure solutions are delivered within scope, budget, and best practices.
- Own the functional solution from discovery through configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, product upgrades, and transition to Customer Success.
- Manage and prioritize the solution backlog, develop acceptance criteria and test scenarios, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and solution validation.
- Analyze data migration requirements, define data mappings, identify data quality issues, and support successful migration and validation activities.
- Prepare and maintain solution documentation, including user stories, functional designs, configuration documentation, deployment artifacts, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Deliver customer demonstrations, end-user training, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation and adoption journey.
- Identify and proactively manage solution risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of solution standards and delivery practices.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, accelerate solution delivery, and enhance documentation quality.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Consultant, Business Analyst, or Administrator supporting external customers.
- Experience implementing at least two or more Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud).
- Expert-level, hands-on experience configuring Salesforce using declarative tools, including Flows, Security and reports.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions that address complex business requirements.
- Strong consulting experience leading discovery workshops, solution design, requirements gathering, and customer-facing implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex challenges.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, executives, and technical teams while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS) or membership-based applications or similar.
- Hands-on experience developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations. Nice to have.
