The ERSEA Coordinator oversees ERSEA; Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment & Attendance for all of Acelero Learning Wisconsin. This position supervises a team of ERSEA assistants and works collaboratively with Family Services Leadership and center-level Family Advocates to ensure the execution of high-quality ERSEA systems and policies that fully comply with Head Start Performance Standards (HSPS) and Acelero Learning policies and procedures. The ERSEA Coordinator assures that our program is fully enrolled, reaches eligible children and families in our communities, maintains high levels of attendance, and delivers the highest customer experience to our families throughout the recruitment, application, and enrollment process.

Job Responsibilities:

● Works with Family Service Coordinators & ERSEA Assistants to develop zone-based recruitment plans, including disabilities and mental health recruitment.
● Deploys recruitment staff and material resources as appropriate across the program.
● Works with the Executive Assistant to Family Engagement and Enrollment & Coordinators to coordinate Advocate recruitment including ongoing canvassing and event coordination.
● Works with the Director of Family Engagement & Enrollment to identify, nurture, and maintain cross-program recruitment partnerships, especially with foster care agencies, homeless shelters and child welfare.
● Regularly attends community-based recruitment events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
● Engages with residents in the program service area communities for recruitment, including door-to-door neighborhood canvassing.
● Meets enrollment guidelines as set by the Office of Head Start and ensures full enrollment by the start of each program year.
● Supports the ERSEA team to live the values and behaviors outlined in Acelero Learning’s Provider-of-choice Baseline Beliefs and Behaviors throughout the application and enrollment process.
● Oversees and maintains timely processing of applications from recruitment through enrollment in a family-friendly way.
● Coordinates with Early Learning Inclusion Specialists and Center Directors regarding child placement to maintain a Least Restrictive Classroom Environment
● Oversees enrollment coordination with district collaborations, State or local Pre-K programs.
● Oversees enrollment coordination for families using extended day services and Childcare Authorization.
● Coordinates Selection Criteria updates in collaboration with the Policy Committee and Board.
● Monitors EHS children for the transition to Head Start, and sends information to advocate teams to initiate transitions.
● Monitors center-level attendance, and shares with center leadership when the average daily attendance falls below 85%.
● Conducts chronic absence audits to support the advocates in setting goals for families with chronic absence patterns
● Oversees ERSEA team in securing and entering health requirements documentation during the application and enrollment process
● Supervises assigned department personnel. Includes the following responsibilities, but are not limited to: hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and the completion of all work performed by direct reports.

Job Requirements:

● Bachelors preferred. Associates with 3+ years combined relevant experience will be considered.
● Experience related to recruitment and enrollment in the educational, social, human, or family services.
● Maintain certification in CPR and First Aid.
● Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
● Travel is required locally or long-distance up to 20% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
● Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

This is a full-time salaried position and the pay rate is $64,439.84 annually.
