Open Positions: Full Time & Seasonal
TENDER TRUCK DRIVER - SEASONAL
$19.00 - $22.00 Hourly
*This is a seasonal position lasting approximately 3-4 months starting in late spring*
This role is responsible for accurately delivering fertilizers & seed products to local agriculture fields by safely operating trucks & equipment. You can expect to drive tender trucks, operate equipment such as skid loaders and forklifts, provide superior customer service and maintain customer rapport while working efficiently and having fun!
What We Need from You
- A driving record that is acceptable for commercial liability insurance
- Class A or Class B CDL desired; BUT if you don’t have a CDL, we will assist you in getting a farm service CDL!
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions with extended work hours in peak season
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bonus Points if You Have
- Agronomy, grain or other agriculture related experience
- Class A CDL
- Commercial Chemical Applicator’s License
- Tanker Endorsement
- Hazmat Endorsement
- Mechanic Background
- Willingness to cross-train
- Associate degree or technical certificate in related field desired
Grain Operator/CDL Driver
What You’ll Be Doing
This position works operationally at the grain site along with performing commercial driving duties. Responsibilities involve safely & efficiently transporting & handling grain, loading & unloading grain trucks, monitoring the grain dryer, operating the scale, completing basic computer transactions, and performing general cleaning and maintenance of the grain site.
What We Need from You
- A driving record that is acceptable for commercial liability insurance
- 4 or more years of related job experience
- Valid Class A CDL
- Ability to operate forklifts and skid steers safely
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions with extended work hours in peak season
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Bonus Points if You Have
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred
- Agricultural background with related experience operating agricultural equipment
