Job Summary:
Facilitate grant implementation, compliance and reporting for behavioral health prevention, treatment and recovery support grants. Prepare annual budgets and work statements for subcontract agreements with participating tribal behavioral health and health systems. Monitor grant budgets and work plans, prepare grant applications, and continuation applications. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports. Provide training and support for implementation of evidence-based services within the respective tribal behavioral health systems
Job Specifications:
Bachelors degree in health, human services or related field required; Masters preferred. Successful experience with grant writing and management preferred. Excellent organizational, computer, oral communication, writing and interpersonal skills required. High-level problem solving skills are required. Knowledge of Anishnaabek traditions, customs, communities and understanding/acceptance of Anishnaabek healing practices helpful. Must have valid driver’s license and able to travel. Experience working in Native American communities preferred. Preference given to qualified Native Americans
Salary: $28.46 – $30.74 per hour dependent on education & experience
