Senior Digital Transformation Specialist

The Senior Digital Transformation Specialist at Alef Education plays a pivotal role in optimizing work processes through automation. This role encompasses analyzing, diagnosing, developing, testing, and documenting software and digital tools. Additionally, it involves proactively identifying technology opportunities that can significantly impact the company's corporate strategies and overall performance.

The Senior Digital Transformation Specialist closely engages with various Alef departments, building strong relationships with senior leaders to secure approval for recommendations. Furthermore, this specialist provides valuable insights and suggestions for enhancing work processes through organizational automation.

Collect requirements and gather comprehensive insights to inform the development and maintenance of advanced systems and tools. Ensure these insights encompass the needs of the field operations team and key school stakeholders, including the Ministry, school leaders, principals, and teachers.

Demonstrate a high ability to understand technical requirements from non-technical users.

Train users on the systems and reporting tools, ensuring they can effectively utilize them to measure and track performance, access real-time data, and streamline automation.

Collaborate closely with other departments such as the IT infrastructure team to maintain system effectiveness, optimizing performance, reliability, and security to meet the high standards expected at different levels.

Lead and participate in establishing high-level systems, refined processes, and advanced reports to streamline automation and grant senior leadership swift access to real-time, actionable data.

Assume oversight and management responsibilities for the LMS (Alef Academy), ASIST (Alef School Implementation Support Tools), and various other digital platforms and tools.

Regularly provide updates on project progress and proactively address any outstanding issues.

Demonstrate how the innovative solutions developed effectively tackle complex customer business challenges and deliver tangible customer value.

Manage user accounts and oversee (SSO) integration process.

Oversee the integration of in-house tools with the LMS (Alef Academy) to ensure a seamless user experience (UX).

Perform LMS administrative functions, including maintaining user records, routing issues to the appropriate channels, and resolving them, while also monitoring the performance of the LMS. This includes promptly identifying, reporting, and addressing any incidents or changes.

Optimize the performance of digital tools by staying updated, testing new functionality, and reporting on new capabilities to the team. Additionally, adapt internal processes with the use of job aids.

Ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases.

Prepare documentation and specifications for all produced work.

Manage common database procedures, including upgrades, backups, recovery, migrations, and more.

Consistently apply secure coding practices to maintain a high level of code security
