Job Overview

You will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, handling accounts payable and receivable cycles, preparing financial analysis and reports, assisting with budgeting and audit preparations, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and making recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures, including preparing monthly bank reconciliations.

As Accountant, you will be in charge of:

• Recording daily financial transactions to the system (Accounts payable/receivable - Cash receipts - General ledger – Payroll - Revenue and expenditure - Balance sheet accounts).
• Handle Accounts payable cycle including the invoice processing up to finalizing the payment.
• Handle Accounts receivables cycle and issuing the invoices to the customer in addition to follow up on the collection.
• Preparing the financial analyses and reports.
• Prepare the monthly and annual cash forcast.
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Preparing the tax activities including income tax, WHT, VAT, and salary tax, and ensuring full compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Making and implementing recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures, performing other duties as assigned or required
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, English section is a must.
• 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
• CMA/ IFRS is a bonus
• Previous experience in E-Educational/ E-commerce is a plus.
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and database
• Strong attention to details.
