OpsTech PXT (HR) organization is seeking an HR Leader with a strong technical business acumen to provide strategic and hands-on organizational support to the OpsTech Delivery organization. We are seeking an experienced technical HR leader who will obtain & demonstrate business acumen and leverage such data insights in developing, implementing, and driving a people strategy that innovates how move the organization forward and how we enhance the employee experience globally. This role partners with the Director of OpsTech Field Delivery and his respective leadership team. The business is navigating through a transformation where this is an excellent time to join the organization to drive high impact initiatives, change management and leader assimilation aligned to the overall vision of OpsTech Solutions (OTS).


About the business:
The OpsTech Field Delivery Organization is comprised of a field IT support team, SDEs, TPIMs, program managers, and a global centralized service desk team. The field IT team provides support for Amazon operations, builds, and customer lifecycle programs in 3k+ Customer Fulfillment Sites and Global Delivery Stations.

Key job responsibilities:
You should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and engaging hands-on with individuals and teams, as well as operating strategically with leadership teams. This is a global matrixed organization where interacting with global counterparts in EMEA, APJC, and in NA is a must. You will need strong business acumen, executive coaching skills, excellent communications skills, strategic thinking, and planning/project management skills. You must be able to balance competing priorities and conflicting opinions, and facilitate the best decisions for employees and the business in an environment of ambiguity and rapid change.
Must be able to travel domestically (30-40%) and internationally (up to 10%), as appropriate.


• Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend improvements.
• Partner with the business to lead routine talent reviews, succession planning, employee growth and development and organizational health priorities.
• Provide compensation support to leaders for all salary actions including the annual salary review, promotions and job re-leveling situations.
• Partner with the talent acquisition team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs to create a sustainable pipeline of talent.


A day in the life
• In addition to supporting OpsTech Delivery, one will own and collaborate on org wide projects and programs across the larger OTS and FTR orgs.
• Partner with COEs (talent management, comp, ER) in streamlining HR core processes that enable to the business and HR to operate faster and efficiently.
• Help the business identify ways to drive an inclusive culture where individuals can bring their authentic self to work that drives innovation.
• Partner with leadership and the larger FTR PXT teams to develop and implement HR plans and solutions to achieve business objectives .

About the team
OTS PXT (HR) team consists of diverse HR professionals that are committed to operating as a unit to drive the business forward. With this role, one will be surrounded by HR practitioners across the globe (e.g. NA, LUX, India, Japan) and from different COEs (comp, talent management, recruiting, etc). This is an opportunity to deliver strategic HR work impacting employees and managers across OTS and FTR.
