Amazon Prime TPM is a cross-functional team of Technical Program Managers that are responsible to run large technology initiatives for Prime Acquisition, Payments, CXE, International Expansion and supporting variations of Prime that provide the best of experience to our customers. As a senior TPM leader, you are a pragmatic visionary that can translate business needs into technology solutions that scale to meet the business needs. You are responsible for driving high quality and enabling innovation. You will work with a team of top talents, manage evolving and complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal organizations. You will draw on customer feedback, usage and operational data, and your experience leading technology businesses to set and deliver on challenging goals to maintain effective software at scale without hindering our ability to reliably meet our customer promise.

The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior people management and analytical abilities. This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. This candidate should possess verifiable leadership qualities including being proactive, thoughtful, thorough, decisive, and flexible, conducting themselves professionally and with integrity at all times. TPM Managers will work with the TPMs by guiding them to go deep on learning their systems’ and use their knowledge to influence and drive cross-team projects and roadmaps. At the core of the position is leadership and delivery. You will have a strong working knowledge of product, architecture, technology and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Qualified candidates have experience in managing high performing individuals, building roadmaps, defining processes, defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets, collaborating across diverse groups, as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization.
