DESCRIPTION

Your responsibilities as Partner Leader will be to deliver game changing solutions that drive highly differentiated industry outcomes based on databases. You will act as a hands-on domain strategist developing WW Partner strategy covering databases. You will identify strategic growth opportunities in the domain and translate them into 1/ Specializations programs, 2/ sales plays, 3/ signature benefits, and 4/ innovative scale mechanisms that enable Partners of all types (G/SI, ISV) to build, market and sell with AWS managed and 3rd party on AWS services integrated into their offerings. You will closely work with technical experts, and regional partner and sales teams to execute strategy at the local level. You will also serve as the main interface to internal service and sales organizations on demand and market signals from regional and partner teams.

You will possess the business background that enables you to engage at the partner executive level, have the channel experience to understand the needs and capabilities of their partner, and the sales background needed to easily interact with customers and sales/field reps. You should think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop strategic relationships and clear go-to-market (GTM) plans with key SI and ISV partners to help them build their business and drive revenue with Databases
• Shape and drive creative, scalable program adoption and GTM initiatives to accelerate database service adoption on AWS
• Identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach with a joint value proposition for using Databases with partners.
• Understand the technical and capability requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.
• Prepare and give business reviews to the senior executive management team.
