Are you passionate about the video game industry and driving high-impact business growth? Amazon's Video Game team is seeking a Senior Vendor Manager to own the P&L for some of our largest gaming categories and vendor partnerships.
As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance and customer experience of key gaming categories and establishing strategic relationships with top industry partners. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of video game retail at Amazon and directly impact the bottom line.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the P&L for multiple high-volume gaming categories and vendor partnerships, meeting top and bottom-line targets.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with new and existing gaming companies to secure early access to trending products, exclusive content, and competitive pricing.
- Lead winning negotiations with vendor senior leadership, representing Amazon's interests while fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Work cross-functionally with teams like Business Development, Marketing, Inventory Management, and Amazon Advertising to drive superior category and vendor performance.
- Continuously audit the customer experience and business metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Leverage data-driven insights to make strategic decisions, optimize assortment, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for gamers.
- Thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of with Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years buying experience
- Proven ability to handle complex negotiations and drive winning results
- Strong business judgement and a track record of managing successful vendor relationships
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey business insights to senior leaders
- Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Grocery buying experience
- SQL proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills to form solid working relationships with vendors and cross-functional partners
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, with attention to detail

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
