DESCRIPTION
Prime Video (PV) brings together the world’s best creators with the most passionate communities in a way that no other entertainment brand can. Not only are we a one-stop hub for distinctive, critically-acclaimed and award-winning original programming including TV series such as The Boys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Jack Ryan and movies like Air, Saltburn, The Idea of You, and Road House, but we offer a multi-dimensional experience that allows subscribers to fully immerse themselves in their fandom: to read the book, to listen to the soundtrack, to buy the costume, to replay live sports in real time, and more. And that breadth and connection to the Amazon family of brands, along with the support of a passionate and diverse global team, makes Prime Video a company where creators and makers of all kinds can build their future.
This Program Lead sits in the Central Marketing Localization (CML) org and serves a critical leadership role within the Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video organizations. This role reports directly to the Head of PV Global Operations Programs. Grounded in customer obsession with a hyper focus on insisting on the highest standards, the CML team enables tactical delivery of localized assets for marketing campaigns across Amazon Original Movies and Series, licensed titles, local Originals, and MGM, while developing the long-term vision, infrastructure, operational frameworks and programs needed to scale operational best practices for localization to meet the growth and complexity of the business.
This role will be working within the US-based Prime Video Global Operations Programs group, but working on behalf of customers around the globe. This team works in close partnership with Amazon MGM Studios post-production and mastering teams, as well as our international expansion and go to market teams. As we scale language coverage across our marketing materials, product UI and our Originals content, the CML program enables repeated successful global launches and maximum relevance to customers all over the world.
The Program Lead works alongside leadership to set the roadmap for broader set of initiatives or manage a portfolio of priority projects, as defined by the Head of Central Marketing Localization & Quality (CMLQ) in service of top-level goals. The Program Lead will directly lead the design of the solution, implementation, and delivery of a highly complicated cross-functional project in an ambiguous or new business area. They will identify, author, and adhere to annual and 3 year plan priorities with a timely focus on infrastructure, cost reduction and cost-avoidance opportunities.
Additionally, they own and contribute to PV product teams' annual first party goals and leverage them to inform CMLQ team priorities. Financially, the Program Lead calibrates asset development budgets across the full slate of titles, while also optimizing for spend on single-title campaigns. Annually and during periods of organizational change, the Program Lead promotes the operational health of the global operations business. They accomplish this by setting the operational vision and guiding change management activities in the mobilization of teams toward greater clarity in roles, responsibilities, and ways of working.
The Program Lead maximizes alignment of pan-regional marketing business objectives and financial budgets with a robust, interconnected infrastructure that accelerates successful delivery of localized materials for global campaigns. In addition to spearheading their own initiatives, which streamline overall operations.
