DESCRIPTION

The XCM Entertainment Marketing team is looking for a passionate, creative, and customer obsessed Creative Program Manager to support our team as we build world-class branded entertainment campaigns for the Amazon Retail and Prime brands. The Entertainment Marketing team develops and executes best-in-class strategies around Content Integrations (CI) and Original Branded Content (OBC). The team manages these workstreams to engage new and existing customers in ways that ultimately drive brand strength for the Retail & Prime brands. Working collaboratively with cross-functional XCM colleagues, the Entertainment Marketing Team harnesses the creative power of entertaining content to efficiently and effectively achieve greater brand salience for Amazon products and services.

This role will manage the execution and day-to-day processes for our team. They are responsible for building effective partnerships with the internal XCM team as well as partnering with our external entertainment agency to manage the creative development, production and post-production of our CIs. They are also responsible for driving strong cross functional team alignment and collaboration.

Throughout the creative development process of integrations, in partnership with the Marketing Manager, the Creative Program Manager will ensure overall alignment to style guide, budget parameters, legal guidance, while managing ongoing logistics, and proactively planning for any and all option value. This role routinely assesses the progress across multiple teams (E&C, media, legal, and entertainment agency). This candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, bias for action, problem solving while maintaining clear and concise communication across all levels of leadership. This role is solutions focused, able to identify escalation paths at critical milestones, and anticipate and mange potential blockers.

This role will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, able to assess and manage risks. They understand program management best practices, are able to clearly define roles and responsibilities of team members and stakeholders, manage multiple end-to end creative workflows at once, and able to proactively provide thoughtful solutions to address changes in timelines or feedback. They will be an organized self-starter with the ability to develop and implement processes and able to work alongside cross-functional teams to provide guidance for projects. This role is supporting net-new workstreams for XCM, which requires a deep, holistic understanding of the team’s goals, and the entrepreneurial ability to envision, articulate, and implement efficient processes for a never-been-done-before way of working.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
