DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven program management experience to own strategic and tactical, cross-functional operations and technology projects associated with the launch and retrofits of Sub Same Day (SSD) FC buildings. This role requires organizing and integrating the SSD network full scope plan roadmap. This entails developing and managing the top-down and bottom-up initiative intake, developing data/voice of the customer pipelines to inform future OP engineering initiatives, establishing engineering prioritization, and coordinating programmatic efforts across stakeholder teams to drive a cohesive plan to deliver the OP2 goals.

Travel is expected 25%.

Key job responsibilities
- Supporting the development of project launch strategy and integration of SSD network plan of record
- Developing programmatic processes to ensure successful initiative intake, prioritization, resources, cross-functional coordination, and timely launches of projects
- Partnering with other teams to source, allocate and coordinate launch resources
- Develop and manage the intake of new network initiatives
- Work with stakeholders to align scope, responsibilities, and prioritization of new initiatives
- Gathering and analyzing data from the field and voice of the customer to inform future OP initiatives
- Innovating to improve processes
- Organize and maintain single source of truth of SSD network POR and strategy for implementation.

About the team
The SSD FC Launch team supports the Rapid and Rural Logistics organization in the planning and build-out of new SSD FC fulfillment centers across the United States. The team coordinates project plans and tracks execution across stakeholders from business, technology, design, and construction teams.
