The Team: Innovation is part of our DNA! The Amazon Fresh Core Processes team is looking for a Manager for Culinary Operations Program Management that wants to join an ambitious and driven team that is changing the landscape of retail.
This role includes ~25% travel to Amazon Fresh Stores nationwide and includes leading a small group of program managers.
The Role: As the Manager of Program Management for Culinary on the Core Process team, you will define the operational strategy for our Amazon Fresh Kitchen processes that will bring efficiency and ease to associates while delighting our customers. Our ideal candidate will work back from core customer needs to develop operating strategies and processes in Amazon Fresh Kitchens. You will work consistently with stakeholder teams to help operationalize new culinary initiatives for our customer and remove roadblocks for store teams. You will use data to track the effectiveness of your programs as well as areas of opportunity for further strategy iteration, building a roadmap for the Kitchen Operation in Amazon Fresh.
Key job responsibilities
• Define the operational strategy and roadmap for multiple formats of the Amazon Fresh Kitchen operation.
• Define the associate culinary tech and inventory management tech required in our kitchens.
• Consult with key partner teams and field leaders to solve quick pain points while defining and building longer term strategies.
• Build programs that deliver an improved customer experience while delivering efficiency and cost savings.
• Build a change management approach in our kitchens for the introduction of new programs, equipment and/or recipes.
• Create and monitor metrics to demonstrate progress towards goals, provide new insights, develop business cases, and allow for regular updates to senior leadership
• Manage cross-functional project teams while collaborating with key stakeholders to improve processes and communication mechanisms
• Build respect and credibility with individual contributors, stakeholders, management peers, and executives
• Spend ~25% of your time in the field launching, supervising, and iterating on new/improved processes
