Marketing Manager - Events & Community
Amplifire
Description
Amplifire is seeking a Community & Events Manager to own two strategically important functions: Amplifire's presence at external industry events, and the hosted events and community programs that enable our clients to learn from one another.
This role is responsible for the strategy and coordination of Amplifire's presence at trade shows and industry conferences: determining our event calendar, making sponsorship recommendations, aligning internal stakeholders, and ensuring our team is prepared to generate pipeline. It also drives execution of our hosted events and webinar programs, most notably the Healthcare Alliance—a community of 35+ leading health systems.
Events and community are a meaningful competitive differentiator for Amplifire. We are unusually good at building trusted relationships through in-person and virtual experiences, and this role is central to sustaining and extending that advantage.
This is a remote role with 10–20% travel. The role reports to the SVP of Marketing.
Responsibilities
External Events
- Own strategy and coordination for Amplifire's presence at industry conferences and trade shows, including event selection, internal alignment, and pre/post-event follow-up.
- Manage all logistics: vendor coordination, materials, shipping, and inventory, to ensure a consistent, high-quality presence.
Hosted Events & Community
- Lead end-to-end execution of hosted virtual events and webinar programs, including client summits, roundtables, and affinity groups.
- Engage internal subject matter experts and leadership as key stakeholders on content and speaker strategy.
- Support growth of the Healthcare Alliance and help build communities in new industry verticals.
Performance & Operations
- Manage event campaigns and data across CRM, marketing automation, and webinar platforms.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to translate event activity into pipeline and retention insights.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B events, community, or partnership marketing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating both external conference presence and hosted or virtual events.
- Comfortable engaging with senior client and prospect stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and webinar tools (e.g., Zoom, ON24).
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated, high-stakes industries preferred.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000
Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401(k) with a match, Flexible/Open PTO Plan, and paid holidays.
