The Digital Lead, Editions will work as part of the Editions team, which itself is part of the larger Amplify Math Curriculum Team. The Digital Lead, Editions will lead the build and customization of digital content, including teacher presentation screens, lesson practice, unit assessments, and ensure the ongoing maintenance of 1-1 digital lessons and teacher presentation screens. The Digital Lead, Editions will also perform additional duties as described below. The Digital Lead, Editions will report to the Director of Curriculum, Editions and Digital Innovation.

Responsibilities:
Lead the build of digital content, including teacher presentation screens, student 1-1 digital lessons, lesson practice, unit assessments, and the ongoing maintenance of these.
Lead Curriculum Developers in lesson ideation and creation of digital builds.
Lead Curriculum Developers in writing the print counterpart to a digital lesson build.
Monitor authoring progress and ensure that it keeps pace with Amplify Desmos Math’s production schedule. Ensure that all elements of the digital build are completed on time with no gaps.
Assist the team, as needed, by authoring digital content to meet deadlines
Ensure that authored content adheres to curriculum guidelines and mathematical accuracy by collaborating with Curriculum Developers throughout the build process.
Ensure that authored content adheres to digital lesson guidelines as outlined by the Amplify Desmos Math Digital Authoring Guide (DAG) and any templates and other instructions, best practices, and guidelines provided at the start of the project.
Work closely with the project management team and other department leaders to monitor project health, and identify and resolve issues and risks.
Work closely with Director, Editions and Digital Innovations with internal digital training
Participate in workshops
Assist with Digital Office Hours
Assume additional responsibilities when necessary.
Basic Requirements:
Proficiency using Desmos Activity Builder for authoring and editing mathematical content, including the Desmos Graphing Calculator and basic Computation Layer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities
Proficiency using online collaboration tools, including Google Suite
Experience working effectively on teams with diverse priorities
Preferred Requirements:
Mathematics teaching experience
Leadership experience
Degree in elementary education, mathematics, or mathematics education
Experience with Mathigon Polypad
Experience with Amplify Desmos Math Curriculum
Compensation:
The hourly rate range for this role is $45.
