The PD Operations team is looking for an experienced data coordinator and data analyst to join our team. This role will work with PD Operations leadership to establish data and reporting strategies and cadences, collaborating with the Business Systems, and Finance teams to obtain and analyze data related to the delivery of Amplify professional development to school districts. We are looking for someone who can play a key role in driving improvements in departmental data processes as we scale our operations to support strategic business goals.
Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Professional Development team as a Data Coordinator. As a Data Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in organizing and maintaining accurate and timely data for the Professional Development Team. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Operations and Hiring/Onboarding Professional Development Teams.

Responsibilities of the Professional Development Data Coordinator Include:
Data Entry and Management:
Accurately input and update data in databases, spreadsheets, and other data repositories.
Regularly audit and verify the integrity of data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Resolve any discrepancies or errors in the data and take corrective actions.
Communicate project timelines and updates to various stakeholders.
Coordinate, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment during benchmark periods
Data Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce data quality standards and protocols.
Conduct regular quality checks on datasets to identify and rectify issues promptly.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve data quality processes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other teams, such as IT, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Systems, etc. to understand data requirements and ensure data consistency.
Collaborate with various levels of management within the department to align on project goals and deadlines.
Provide support to colleagues in accessing and interpreting data as needed across the department.
Reporting:
Generate and distribute routine reports based on established schedules or as requested by the Professional Development Leadership Team.
Assist in the development of custom reports for specific projects for Hiring and Onboarding and PD Operations.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to data entry procedures and standards.
Develop and update data dictionaries, ensuring that terminology is consistent across the department/organization.
Training and Support:
Train new staff on data entry procedures and best practices.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members regarding data-related queries and issues.
Data Security:
Implement and adhere to data security and privacy policies.
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data protection measures are in place and up-to-date.
Basic Qualifications of the Professional Development Data Coordinator:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., information management, business, computer science) or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in data entry and data management roles.
Strong proficiency in data entry software and database systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Developing data models and algorithms
Ability to learn and adopt new tools and methods for data collection and reporting
Preferred Qualifications of the Professional Development Data Coordinator:
Experience with Salesforce and/or NetSuite.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
Knowledge of basic programming languages (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
Experience with data cleaning and transformation processes.
Previous experience in a similar industry or domain is advantageous.
Enthusiasm for and comfort within fast-paced company culture
Certified PM or agile PM certification
Compensation:
The hourly rate range for this role is $31.00 - $33.00
