The Product Marketing Manager, Literacy Suite & Supplementals is a key player on a high-performing product marketing team. The PMM is critical to the success of the product, sales, and marketing teams, and is passionate about the opportunities Amplify’s literacy programs have to positively impact the lives of millions of students.
In their role, the PMM will grow Amplify’s customer base by drafting positioning, developing messaging, completing in-depth competitive analyses, enabling the sales team with effective collateral and resources, and working with Growth Marketing to drive campaigns across channels.
The ideal candidate makes data-based decisions, collaborates well, communicates effectively verbally and in writing, and is able to prioritize to meet the needs of competing demands. This role reports to the Director, Literacy A&I and Supplementals Marketing and works cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales colleagues to drive revenue for Amplify’s elementary literacy suite and literacy personalized learning portfolio (Boost Reading, Boost Lectura).

Responsibilities of the PMM, Literacy Suite & Supplementals:
Act as the voice of the customer to inform product development, and marketing and sales strategy. This role will develop a deep understanding of customer purchasing behaviors, market trends, cross-product purchase and usage trends, and the competitive landscape, distilling the information for internal groups as needed and using it to inform product development roadmaps, and marketing and sales strategy.
Be a strategic partner for the sales team. This role will play a critical role in sales enablement including developing sales team trainings, researching competitors and translating that intelligence into sales resources, and updating customer-facing collateral including pitch decks and print materials.
Lead positioning and messaging for the literacy suite and the Boost programs. This role will be responsible for defining and refining the positioning and the messaging for Amplify’s full literacy suite as well as for Boost Reading and Boost Lectura.
Assist in developing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans. Working closely with cross-functional colleagues, this role will play a key role in building and executing comprehensive go-to-market plans for product launches and enhancements to help the sales team achieve revenue targets.
Partner with Growth Marketing to plan and execute literacy suite marketing campaigns. The role will collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through acquisition channels, including playing a key role in developing campaign strategy and tactics and reviewing campaign copy (emails, landing pages, ads) for middle of funnel and bottom of funnel campaigns.
Champion the product roadmap. The PMM will work cross-functionally with Product Managers to internalize, inform, and communicate the product roadmap, including supporting product launches and creating internal and external tools to translate the value of new product features and new editions to the sales team and prospects.
Maintain literacy suite and Boost product pages on Amplify.com. The role will be responsible for making sure that we have the latest program messaging on the website, and will work with the web team to make sure product pages are optimized for SEO traffic and conversion.
Prioritize the cross-product early literacy suite projects against the needs of the Boost portfolio. This role requires flexibility in meeting the business needs for the early literacy suite while maintaining foundational marketing collateral for the Boost portfolio.
Basic Requirements of the PMM:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3-5+ years’ experience in product marketing
Experience simultaneously managing multiple projects effectively
Experience coordinating and communicating between multiple stakeholders at varying levels of an organization
Exceptional writing skills, including attention to details of grammar, punctuation, phrasing, and structure
Preferred Qualifications of the PMM:
Prior experience in education, EdTech, or education publishing
Experience marketing SaaS products to schools and districts

The gross annualized salary range for this role is $112,500 - $125,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
