The Associate Technical Project Manager, as part of Anthology’s Cloud Provisioning team, is responsible for coordinating the intake and tracking of customer provisioning and migration projects, as well as delivering our cloud hosted solutions directly to customers.

Responsibilities include provisioning and decommissioning of hosted and cloud services, coordinating and monitoring progress of these tasks among the team, along with onboarding of new customers. For incoming migration projects, the Associate Technical Project Manager performs triage and information gathering, providing ongoing monitoring and support with the Project Managers, and coordination among internal teams. This position involves extensive collaboration with Sales, Finance, Infrastructure and Application Operations, and Database Administrators, among others. The candidate must be detail-oriented, have an IT background, an aptitude to learn our products and technology, have good project management skills, possess ability to multitask, provide the highest level of customer service, and be able to work under limited supervision.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the coordination of complex technology environment setups from initiation to completion that include their progress tracking, quality documentation, and continual customer communication
  • Responding to inquiries in a timely manner and adhering to customer deadlines and meeting contractual service levels
  • Coordinating the intake of new provisioning and migration activities, distributing and completing tasks, and assisting with the triage, information gathering and assignment of migration projects
  • Serving as primary customer contact for onboarding, managing overall company customer interface relationships for defined scope(s) of work to ensure responsiveness to customer needs, effective professional conduct, and communication of status updates
  • Working with internal teams, monitors, and controls work in progress for technical adequacy; providing active assistance to meet schedules or resolve complex technical or customer requirements
  • Helping ensure integrity of our provisioning and onboarding processes by proactively reviewing assigned tasks, customer data, and other information as part of daily work – identifying/analyzing trends and following up with review or audits where necessary

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2 years of work experience in a relevant technical discipline
  • Demonstrated communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and short-term and long-term planning skills
  • Portrays a professional demeanor with the ability to establish and maintain effective business and client relationships
  • Background in web technologies and enterprise application implementations in a UNIX/Oracle environment
  • IT customer service or other client-facing experience
  • Excels in customer service and understands “Customer First” philosophy
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Anthology application knowledge from a system administrator or help desk perspective
  • Microsoft AZ-900 Certification
  • Knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Cloud Architectures
  • Previous experience in the education industry and e-learning technologies
  • Background in content/knowledge management and digital asset management

Pay range is $66,200 - $75,000/year depending upon experience. We use national and industry-specific survey data to assist in determining compensation. Additionally, we consider factors such as external market rate, budget for the role, and the compensation rates of current employees performing the same function. Some roles will have variable pay.
