As an HR Coordinator, you will be a key member of Anthology’s Global HR Service Delivery Team responsible for ensuring a seamless, high-quality employee experience across our global workforce. You will report to the lead Senior Human Resources Specialist in the HR Service Delivery organization, working closely with the broader global HR team to support Anthology’s global and dynamic workforce.

Your focus will be continuous improvement in HR processes, compliance, employee support and technology. In this role, you will touch every aspect of the employee lifecycle for employees in various geographies, making this an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to jump start their career in Human Resources.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Employee Support

  • Serving as a first HR contact for Anthology’s global workforce, answering tier-1 employee questions/tickets and escalating as needed
  • Monitoring and responding to leave/accommodation requests for Anthology’s Student Success contact center employee population

Onboarding

  • Working closely with the talent acquisition team during hiring peaks to ensure a smooth assimilation and onboarding for new hires
  • Supporting key onboarding tasks such as, validating work authorization documentation, creating employment files, etc.
  • During hiring peaks, helping to conduct virtual orientation sessions for non-seasonal Student Success employees and collaborating with the Student Success HR team to regularly update onboarding materials and processes

HR Systems & HR Data Maintenance

  • Reviewing and processing employment changes in the HR system
  • Handling timecard adjustments and inputs for employees as requested
  • Reviewing of Colombian payroll registers to ensure accuracy in coordination with the Payroll team

Offboarding

  • Assisting with employee departures and checkout procedures, answering questions as needed
  • Assisting with involuntary terminations for the Colombia Student Success contact center employees as needed

Global HR Team Support

  • Serving as an administrative resource for the HR Consulting & Delivery Team providing ad hoc reporting, information tracking, and support for HR program delivery
  • Providing backup support for other HR team members as needed

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
  • High school diploma
  • Strong communications skills (written and spoken)
  • Proactive and strong attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to report to our Bogota-based office on an as-needed basis (must live within reasonable commutable distance)
  • Ability to modify and adjust individual approach and delivery to fit specific situations
  • Ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
  • Ability to be agile and navigate change
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Office 365

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of prior professional experience in a corporate environment, bonus if in HR field
  • Basic knowledge of HR/personnel practices and principles
  • Prior experience working in a global organization on a geographically dispersed team
