Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist at apna in Bengaluru. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating visual problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing guidance on eye care. Additionally, they will assist in fitting and adjusting eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as educating patients on proper eye care practices.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of optometry principles and practices
• Experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing visual problems
• Ability to prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients
• Detail-oriented and patient-focused approach to eye care
• Knowledge of eye diseases and treatment options
• Licensed Optometrist in the state of Karnataka
• Experience in a clinical or retail eye care setting is a plus
