About the Role :
We are looking for a talented and competitive Sales Associates that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding candidates in making informed academic decisions. This includes counseling prospective candidates, assessing their needs and aspirations, and providing support throughout the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Provide one-on-one academic and career guidance to prospective candidates and understand candidates’ interests, strengths, and goals to suggest suitable courses and programs. Clarify queries regarding course details, eligibility, admission process, fees, and scholarships.
2. Counsel customers and apprise them of program features, pedagogy, and curriculum. Clarify and handle questions pertaining to course, program selection and career planning.
3. Connecting and Counselling working professionals for Programs.
4. Creating sales pipeline through cold calling & inbound enquiries and converting student enquiry/leads into admission.
5. Closing sales opportunities & consistently meet monthly sales quota.
6. Coordinating systematically for efficient handling of applications and communicating with parents of student applicants.
7. Follow up for enrollment confirmations and collaborate with the admissions team to achieve enrollment targets.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive courses, and emerging career opportunities. Provide feedback to the marketing and academic teams based on student interactions.
9. Maintain detailed records of all counseling interactions in the CRM.
10. Maintain and expand your database of prospects within the database assigned.
