Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Product Manager to join our Product Team at App Academy. In this role, you will focus on enhancing the learner experience, ensuring our learners have a seamless and engaging journey throughout their time at App Academy and also ensuring the experience leads to strong educational outcomes. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity for candidates who are early in their career as a Product Manager or who have prior experience as an Associate Product Manager and are looking to take the next jump in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, instruction, and learner support to develop and execute product strategies that improve the learner experience.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand learner needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in defining product requirements, creating user stories, and maintaining a well-prioritized product backlog.
- Monitor product performance and learner engagement metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
- Participate in the development and launch of new features and improvements, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Communicate product updates and changes effectively to internal stakeholders and learners.
- Support the creation of product documentation and training materials for both internal and external users.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Product Manager or prior experience as an Associate Product Manager.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Experience with user research and data analysis to drive product decisions.
- Passion for education and a commitment to improving learner experiences.A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Superb attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce, Canvas, Discord, and Intercom
- Experience working in the education or edtech sector.
