The Opportunity:
Reporting to the head of Integrated Marketing, this new role at ApplyBoard will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy of our 4 segments: recruitment partners, schools, value-add partners, and students. The successful candidate will oversee a team of other marketing managers, but would be particularly hands-on for the strategy and execution of promoting and amplifying universities across our recruitment base, ensuring marketing efforts drive targeted adoption, and GTM strategy of new products and services targeted towards schools.

What you'll do everyday:
Develop and lead partner segment marketing strategy:
Create and execute a comprehensive segment marketing strategy to promote priority institutions within our recruitment base.
Work alongside the cross-functional team to prioritize and promote schools through available channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Go-to-market strategy (GTM) and execution:
Design and implement GTM strategies to enhance the visibility and adoption of priority institutions.
Collaborate closely with sales and school representatives to ensure cohesive and effective marketing initiatives.
Innovate and adapt marketing tactics to meet the evolving needs of the segment.
Campaign management and optimization:
Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, utilizing traditional and digital channels.
Work with marketing ops to measure and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Pull data together to tell a story of the campaign’s success and learnings that can be shared with the school and other segment partners.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Work very closely alongside the sales team to understand their needs, and their customer’s pain points.
Serve as a key interface between marketing, sales, and school partners to drive segment strategy and execution.
Work with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
Help and encourage your own team to take ownership of their cross-functional relationships with other key stakeholders and the sales teams.
Market research and insights:
Conduct market research to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for innovation.
Develop a learning agenda to continuously improve brand and customer metrics through experimentation and insights.
Team leadership and development:
Manage and mentor a team responsible for the partner portfolios and GTM activities.
Foster a high-performance team culture focused on accountability, execution excellence, and business impact.
What you bring to the table:
10+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on segment strategy and GTM execution.
Experience in promoting educational institutions or related sectors is highly desirable.
Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans, while also using your creative problem-solving skills to inspire and motivate teams.
Highly analytical with a focus on business impact.
Experience in measuring and optimizing marketing campaigns.
Strong planning, prioritization, and project management skills, while being able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Outstanding written, verbal, and illustrative communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
