Avenica is currently evaluating talent for a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist position. The ideal candidate for this position is interested in the healthcare and medical industry as well as data entry. No degree required!
Responsibilities of the Healthcare Data Entry Specialist:
Responsible for accurate, timely maintenance of complex provider information and synchronization of data on all claims and provider databases including expertise on business requirements for multiple business regions.
Participates in system testing and analysis in support of new functionality, new system processes, and business rules changes.
Validates data to be housed on provider databases and ensure adherence to business and system requirements of customers.
Researches and resolves complex exceptions and error reports, determine regional/cap/business indicators for multiple business areas to assure accurate reimbursement based on provider contract and area fee schedules.
Interprets update requests and coordinates with internal and external customer to clarify and complete.
Applies standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge in specialist areas.
Provides standard professional advice and creates initial reports/analyses for review.
Requirements of the Healthcare Data Entry Specialist:
High School diploma or GED
2+ years of data entry experience
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access experience
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong analytical skills with ability to work collaboratively and individually to find the best possible solutions
Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the US; Avenica is unable to provide sponsorship at this time
