Avenica is a Talent Partner of Walser Automotive Group, helping to launch dynamic careers for talent across all departments at Walser stores.

We're evaluating talent for a proactive, detail-savvy, and people-focused Senior Analyst, managing Compliance, Safety and Risk. This is a full-time, direct hire position with comprehensive benefits at Walser Automotive.

Location: In-person in Bloomington, MN (5 days/week)

Salary: $65,000-$80,000 annually DOE

Comprehensive Benefits including:

  • Health, Dental, Vision coverage & HSA/FSA
  • Paid Parental Leave (Maternity, Paternity, Adoption)
  • Adoption Assistance Program
  • Life Insurance
  • 401K with Employer Match & more

In this critical role, you’ll be the go-to expert for managing Workers’ Compensation claims, promoting a culture of safety, and helping protect Walser employees, customers, vehicles and ultimately the business. You'll also dive into data, guide insurance processes, and collaborate across departments to build a safer, smarter, and more resilient company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Champion Employee Safety: Manage Workers’ Compensation claims, lead return-to-work efforts, and ensure OSHA compliance.

  • Own Claims Management: Handle diverse claims (property damage, GL, loaners, test drives, etc.), manage our self-insured captive program, and maintain detailed incident records.

  • Support Risk & Insurance: Assist with annual insurance renewals, track loss ratios, and create dashboards to guide leadership decisions.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with HR, GMs, and Accounting to align safety efforts and promote risk awareness as a core value.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation, insurance claims, safety, or risk — ideally within the automotive industry or a multi-state organization.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Safety, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of OSHA standards and state-by-state Workers’ Comp rules.
  • A balance of analytical thinking and people skills — you’re just as comfortable digging into data as you are supporting an injured employee.
  • A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and claims/risk management software.

What You'll Experience at Walser:

  • You'll be making a real impact every day — keeping people safe and helping the company thrive.
  • You’ll be part of a collaborative, values-driven team that supports one another and believes in continuous improvement.
  • Your voice and insights will be heard, valued, and used to shape the future of safety and risk at a fast-moving, employee and customer-focused company.
