Deep Collaboration and Constant Evolution

- Follow an alternate day schedule and teach curriculum in both English and Spanish languages that supports student wellbeing and encompasses all academic subjects
- Partner with colleagues to create an innovative and engaging classroom environment for students at all levels of language learning
About the Role
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Start date: August 2026
- Collaborate intensively and daily with fellow grade-level and language colleagues to design learning outcomes, monitor growth, and thoughtfully address individual student needs.
- Design an innovative curriculum that engages all learners in meaningful and challenging work that cultivates real-world problem solving skills and develops social responsibility.
- Deeply connect with students, colleagues, and parents to vigorously uphold a culture of welcome, safety, and respect.
- Create a rigorous and joyful learning atmosphere that fosters a deep sense of belonging in students.
About You
WHAT YOU BRING
- Native or near native fluency in both Spanish and English (written and oral) is required. You must be able to teach academic content, facilitate discussion, and communicate effectively with students and families in both languages.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in Grades K-6 with a proven track record of student learning in English and/or Spanish.
- Ability to demonstrate students producing high-quality work that shows flexible thinking and deep understanding across mediums.
- Profound commitment to ensuring and nurturing children's wellbeing.
- A resourceful and adaptive collaborator; eager to embrace new perspectives, contribute to a team and achieve goals together.
- Expert in age/developmentally appropriate behavior management.
- Dedication to learning and developing the craft of teaching.
- Respect for, and appreciation of, a diverse community of learners, families, and colleagues.
- Graduate degree in education, teaching or a related field.
Additional Information
If hired for this position, the annual salary range is between $70,000 - $110,000. The salary may vary depending on your professional experience and skills.
