Program Manager, Senior

As a Senior Program Manager on Blackbaud’s Product Technology Group Enablement team, you will work with a passionate cross-functional group responsible for leading and coordinating our Portfolio Transition Strategy - End of Service related activities across RDO, Cyber, IT, Finance, Support, Services, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and other business stakeholder groups, as well as external partners. This role will be working with leaders across these organizations to identify activities and dependencies, working to remove obstacles, manage timeline, and communicate progress on the end of services initiatives.

You will leverage your program experience and process savvy to conquer complex business challenges, in an efficient and cost-effective manner. A successful Program Manager will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and be able to gracefully navigate between technical and business stakeholders. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be confident leading and orchestrating diverse, senior teams to successfully deliver on key end of service deliverables in accordance with time and cost constraints. Blackbaud’s Program Managers thrive in dynamic environments and embody adaptive learning characteristics. They can expect to be challenged by complicated initiatives with varying requirements across demanding stakeholders that need a clear, comprehensive plan and a steady, experienced leader to guide and govern it. Additionally, they may be partnering with a cross-functional team to gain efficiencies or reduce risk by defining new cross Center of Excellence (COE) processes. Whatever the challenge, the Blackbaud Program Manager is always looking for ways to both empower and inspire their teams to more effective outcomes and enable a more effective cross company orchestration framework.
Key Roles/Responsibilities:
Manage and lead strategic, complex portfolio end of service efforts, across multiple project teams and/or departments
Partner with business leaders to determine success measures
Manage and lead end of service projects from planning to closeout, honoring project commitments for timeliness, quality, budget and business success
Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure program success, including successful management of risk and dependencies, across multiple organization to ensure efficient outcomes of the plan
Raise accountability; escalate issues in a timely manner
Resolve issues, impediments, dependencies and conflicts; make certain that all team members are involved and engaged
Deliver on commitments to goals and produce consistently excellent results
Act as the point of escalation for risks, issues and obstacles, ensuring action items are clearly defined, assigned to owners and driven to resolution in a timely manner
Partner with leadership to develop, deploy and govern portfolio end of service standards and best practices with a focus on cross COE business readiness
Actively contribute to advancing our lean processes to drive efficiency and improve effectiveness while supporting organic maturation of teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
A minimum of five years program management experience
Practical experience with lean and agile methodologies
Experience working with large and geographically distributed teams
Experience delivering new products/capabilities to the market
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps for Project and Program Management
Experience working on software solution End of Service or End of Life stages, nice to have

The starting base pay is $87,700.00 to $114,200.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.Benefits Include:
