Blackbaud is looking for a Director, Business Operations to join our Corporate IT team. The successful candidate will ensure business continuity and provide financial, strategic and analytical support spanning the entire organization. This role reports to the Chief Information Officer and will lead the Office of the CIO. In this role the individual will work on key initiatives, help to define, communicate and drive strategy and execution, maintaining budget oversight and measuring group success. They will work and interface with cross-functional teams from the CTO, the Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Product Management, Customer Operations, Business Units, HR and Blackbaud’s leadership team to ensure there is strong collaboration and coordination between the organizations.

The starting base pay is $133,700.00 to $173,800.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.

Blackbaud is looking for a Director, Business Operations to join our Corporate IT team. Responsibilities
- Provide functional program development, planning, guidance and support to ensure that business objectives are met.
- Responsible for developing and implementing operational plans including staffing needs and process improvements.
- Own our operational performance metrics, including tracking and reporting on KPI’s.
- Drive our adoption of Technology Business Management practices, driving implementation of the tooling and insuring outcomes are connected across FinOps, Technology Business Management and Enterprise Portfolio Management
- Organizes staff meetings, quarterly planning meetings and Operational reviews.
- Oversees a central repository/portal for capturing, cataloging, and disseminating key performance metrics regarding execution to goals and operating performance.
- Serves as project manager for strategic initiatives being tracked on behalf of the Product & Technology Group (PTG) Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage an agile set of individuals responsible for organizational communications, training, and quality management
- Responsible for optimizing process and enabling technologies that support reliable and efficient attainment of desired outcomes for the organization in support of company outcomes.
- Influence and advise management and other professionals on strategic and tactical decisions.
- Analyze complex or new situations and implement solutions or develop new approaches, procedures or processes.
- Facilitate strategic training initiatives, talent reviews, and overall management of staffing and scope alignment.
- Own overall communications including newsletters, emails, intranet, and team meetings to develop and drive alignment and successful realization of our vision and mission.
- Superior written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal skills, presentation skills and overall negotiations skills.
- Expertise leading cross-functional workshops to drive to consensus and guide key project decisions.
- Detail oriented with experience in data Experience analysis. with PowerBI or Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent reporting skills; ability to grasp technical PTG products and projects.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence others.
- High level of professionalism, energy and sense of urgency to “make things happen”.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- 12 years of progressive experience with at least 3 years in a similar role.
- BS/BA degree required.
