Spearhead our communications and marketing systems, embody our company's mission and values, and ensure the safety of young children while fostering positive relationships with families and colleagues. This is a hospital center, so the candidate must be flexible with their schedule. The center is open until 8pm.
- Be familiar with Early Childhood State regulations, ratios, and knowledge. Such as covering breaks, and assisting teachers from time to time.
Must be a team player.
Responsibilities:
· Greet and proactively communicate via email and phone with prospective and enrolled families
· Ensure licensing, attendance, and other files are current, confidential, and secure
· Provide support where needed throughout the center
- Must be able to answer phones professionally and be an excellent greeter to our students and families.
-Email etiquette is a must.
-Utilize Excel skills to manage complex scheduling matrices, track staffing patterns, and analyze coverage needs across multiple childcare classroom.
-Demonstrate agility in adapting to shifting priorities, last-minute staffing changes, and evolving operational demands.
-Maintain exceptional organizational systems to coordinate schedules for a team of 70+ staff, ensuring compliance with licensing ratios and center-specific requirements.
-Engage in difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy to address scheduling conflicts, and staffing gaps.
-Collaborate with center leadership to align staffing plans with enrollment trends, program needs, and employee availability.
-Proactively identify and resolve scheduling challenges to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery across all sites.
Qualifications:
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
· 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
· Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred
· Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate curriculum practice

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center.
· Frequently lift, move, or hold children with a range of weight from 10 to 40 pounds; occasionally lift, move, or hold weight more than 40 pounds
· Supervise and interact daily with children outdoors for extended periods in varied weather conditions
· Demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and otherwise fully participate in activities
· Respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies
· Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
