OVERVIEW OF THE JOB
We are currently looking to appoint a evening catering assistant to join the catering team at Bosworth Independent School. You will be working with a large team who provide a five star catering service to our students and staff. You will be helping with the service of dinner, working under the direction of our Head Chef.

This role is on a part time basis (15hrs per week) working 4.30pm until 7.30pm Wednesday to Friday and will involve a split shift every Saturday working the hours 12pm - 3pm and 4:30pm - 7:30pm. There is regular opportunity for overtime. Please note, this is not a Term Time role only.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(please note, the following section outlines a more detailed, but not exhaustive, description of the duties of the post

• Day to day cleaning of canteen and kitchen to a high standard.
• Assisting chef on food preparation.
• Assist with deliveries to ensure they are put away correctly.
• To be mindful of the need to ensure all College students and staff receive a high level of food production and balanced diet accordance to the government legislation (Food Policy in Schools)
• To promote the good name of the College through conduct towards students, parents, agents and other parties, and attendance at College events (consistent with the Staff and Personal Tutor Handbooks).
• To adhere at all times to College standards (consistent with the Staff Handbook).
• To provide general support and cover across the organisation as required.
• To be mindful at all times of health and safety requirements (consistent with the Staff Handbook)
