ABOUT CATS CAMBRIDGE
CATS College Cambridge offers an outstanding international pre-university educational experience to students aged 14+ from all over the world. CATS students live and work at the custom built Cambridge campus, studying for GCSEs, A levels and University Foundation Programmes, and preparing for admission to universities across the country and elsewhere. OVERVIEW OF THE JOB
The School Admissions Registrar is responsible for overseeing the internal admissions process of the school and serving as the face of the school to prospective students, families and agents. This requires a strong understanding of the school's mission, values, and academic programmes, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This high-profile role maintains the positive and professional public image of the school, ensuring that all interactions with prospective families, agents and other visitors are handled with the utmost care and attention.

REPORTS TO
You will be directly responsible to the Vice Principal. You will work within the framework set by and under the general direction of the Principal.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage admissions within the school, liaising with the central Sales and Admissions teams to ensure a smooth process from initial enquiry to enrolment.
• Review and evaluate student applications, transcripts, and test scores in line with programme entry requirements, making recommendations and decisions on behalf of the school.
• Conduct professional admissions interviews and pre-CAS appointments with prospective students and their families.
• Analyse and report on sales figures/forecasts to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Examine interview responses to identify key/emerging trends and feed back to senior leadership.
• Represent, support and maintain oversight of marketable events concerning the school, liaising with the central marketing team and other key stakeholders as appropriate.
• Support enquiries from prospective students, parents, agents, and our own sales representatives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, agents, alumni, and other stakeholders.
• Hold overall responsibility for front-of-house experience, including internal branding.
• Lead on school tours and co-ordination of itineraries.
• Provide exceptional service to all prospective clients and visitors, including high-profile individuals, companies, and international students.
• Promote the school's mission, values, and academic programmes within the school community and to all potential clients and stakeholders as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Support general administrative duties as required.


PERSON SPECIFICATION
Personal Specification and Qualities
• 2nd class Bachelors degree or higher
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Sufficient numeracy skills to deal with statical data
• Proficiency in English language; other languages an advantage.
• A strong understanding of academic routes to university success.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the wider team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• General proficiency in IT software necessary as you will be using bespoke CRM software as well as other office programs extensively.
• Ideally qualified in business administration?

Desirable skills
• Experience working in a private boarding school, or international school setting.
• Knowledge of business management, marketing and public relations principles.
• Knowledge of English as a second language qualifications and assessment.
• Experience with social media management.
• Experience in using CRM system software.
• Familiarity with UKVI visa and immigration regulations.
• Ability to take high-quality event and/or portrait photos for use in marketing and promotional materials.
