ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking to appoint a Recruitment Manager responsible for recruiting students across all schools within the CATS Global Schools Group. The role will focus primarily on working with Mexican agents, while also providing guidance and support to students and their parents throughout the recruitment process.
This position involves regular travel, as required. The role is based in Mexico, with a strong preference for candidates located in Guadalajara, Querétaro, or Monterrey.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience & Commercial Background
- Minimum 5 years experience in international student recruitment, education sales, or a related commercial role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and enrolment targets in competitive markets.
- Demonstrated experience in building, managing, and growing education agent networks, with a strong focus on performance and conversion.
- Strong key account management experience, including agent segmentation, performance tracking, and relationship development.
- Experience in budget management, forecasting, and delivering strong return on investment (ROI).
- Desirable: Previous experience working with UK education institutions (schools, colleges, or universities).
Market Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the Mexican international education market and student recruitment landscape.
- Established knowledge of, or existing relationships within, the education agent network in Mexico.
- Ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform recruitment strategy.
Skills & Competencies
- Highly tenacious, target-driven, and commercially focused, with a strong hunger for sales success.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence agents, students, and parents.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, both external and internal.
- Highly organised, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act decisively to protect enrolments.
- Confident working independently while contributing effectively to a regional team.
Education & Languages
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Additional Desirable Attributes
- Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently within Mexico.
- Strong digital literacy, including experience with CRM systems, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to operate effectively in an international, multi-market environment.
