ABOUT THE WORTHGATE SCHOOL
The Worthgate School offers an outstanding international pre-university educational experience to students aged 13+ from all over the world. Students study for GCSEs, A levels and University Foundation Programmes, and preparing for admission to universities across the country and elsewhere. We pride ourselves on our approach to teaching and learning, with small class sizes and an informal atmosphere ensuring that students are treated as individuals and build great relationships with staff.

JOB OVERVIEW
Join our dynamic team at The Worthgate School and help shape unforgettable student experiences beyond the classroom. As a Student Experience – Trips, Activities and Sport Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering an exciting programme of trips, sport and activities that inspire confidence, resilience and global curiosity in our international students. This is a hands-on, student-facing role where no two days are the same; whether you’re leading engaging activities, supporting sports sessions, preparing for adventurous trips, or helping bring the Duke of Edinburgh programme to life. You’ll also be part of our vibrant boarding community, building meaningful relationships and supporting students’ wellbeing and development. We are seeking to appoint two assistants, each working 18.75 hours per week. You will be required to work 2 x weekday shifts and 1 x weekend shift. Shift times vary from 14:45 - 19:45 and 16:00 - 21:00 during weekdays and 10:00 - 19:45 during weekends. However, due to the nature of the role flexibility is required. This role is contracted to 45 weeks per year with a 5-week break over summer, and a 2-week break over Christmas.
