The Vibe
CeriFi is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product definition and delivery across our Exam Prep, Continuing Education, and Certification verticals.
This is a high-ownership role for a seasoned product professional who can operate with significant day-to-day autonomy taking strategic direction from senior leadership and driving it through to disciplined, high-quality execution. The right candidate brings the organizational maturity to establish and enforce product management processes across cross-functional teams, including stakeholders across business and technology functions with varying levels of product management familiarity.
First-hand experience in professional education, particularly Exam Prep, Continuing Education, or Certification, is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Product Definition & Requirements
- Translate strategic concepts and new product initiatives into thorough, well-structured product requirements including detailed user stories, functional specifications, edge case documentation, and acceptance criteria at a level of completeness that enables engineering teams to write technical delivery stories with minimal back-and-forth.
- Partner with stakeholders to define and document business objectives, use cases, target audiences, and measurable success metrics for each initiative.
- Synthesize competitive intelligence, market research, and customer data to make informed product decisions, shape roadmap priorities, and ensure products meet accreditation, compliance, and industry standards.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and align cross-functional teams spanning Technology, Content, Compliance, Marketing, and Sales by establishing clear process expectations, decision frameworks, and communication cadences.
- Introduce and sustain product management discipline in organizations building or maturing their product practice, holding stakeholders accountable to defined processes and decision frameworks.
- Serve as a steady, credible point of coordination across business and technical functions, earning trust through clarity, follow-through, and domain knowledge.
Delivery & Lifecycle Management
- Own the full product lifecycle — from discovery and definition through build, QA, launch, and post-release optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and design to assess feasibility, define scope, and actively manage timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Identify and remove blockers proactively to maintain delivery momentum across parallel workstreams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for launch readiness, ensuring that all materials, workflows, and internal communications are complete before go-live.
Performance & Iteration
- Define KPIs at the outset of each initiative and track post-launch performance against them, developing insights that drive future enhancements.
- Support go-to-market planning, messaging, and sales enablement in partnership with Marketing and Sales.
- 7–12 years of product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of autonomous, end-to-end product ownership.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality, detailed product requirements that enable engineering teams to execute with confidence and minimal ambiguity.
- Demonstrated experience introducing and sustaining product management processes across cross-functional teams with varying levels of product management familiarity.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously without loss of quality or detail.
- Experience working directly with engineering and design teams on customer-facing digital products.
Strongly Preferred
- First-hand industry experience in professional education — specifically Exam Prep, Continuing Education (CE), or Certification verticals.
- Familiarity with CE accreditation workflows, provider approval processes, credit hour compliance, or regulatory environments governing professional licensure.
- Background in edtech, SaaS, or content-driven platforms.
