Talent Development Coordinator

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Chegg’s Talent Development Team is adding a Coordinator to the dynamic team. This role is built for a utility player; executing processes, programs and resources to support Chegg employees in their growth and development. This is a great role for someone who is a creative self-starter. Must be client-focused, detailed oriented, and looking to add to the fun energy of this lean team.

This position reports to the Talent Development Program Manager and will be working from our Headquarters in Santa Clara, CA office.

What excites you about us:

  • Will be expected to handle all Talent Development Program coordination and proactively apply critical thinking insights on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide logistical support to Talent Development initiatives, including material development, communications, scheduling, logistics, etc.
  • Support Program Manager with post training initiatives, including tracking attendance, scheduling post surveys, and sending follow up communications.
  • Assist in project planning, mapping out company Talent Development calendar and proactively identifying any conflicts.
  • Coordinate and schedule reoccurring employee trainings - New Hire and New Managers.
  • Update internal intranet pages with UpToDate Talent Development Team engagements and trainings.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional team members to both create material, assist during training sessions and schedule post survey launches to support a culture of learning.
  • Work closely with Sr Director, Talent Development Teams budget for programs, trainings and coaching programs
  • Support our Program Manager and Workday LMS Admin with Chegg’s quarterly Compliance Training (ie dates for launch, communications, troubleshooting issues, partnering with vendors, partnering with stakeholders, running reports, etc.)
  • Support facilitators and participants in a hybrid environment (in person or on Zoom)
  • Collaborate with Talent Development Admin to administer trainings via Workday Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Actively engaged, instinctively adding high energy and problem solving to continually improve engagement for Talent Development programs
  • Proactively engage with all vendors and manage external relationships.
  • Partner with key stakeholders within the talent development team, HR team and cross-functionally.

  • 2+ years of admin or relevant role experience
  • Knowledgeable of the Microsoft office suite
  • Experience using CultureAmp Admin or other survey platform
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage one’s own deliverables and timelines, while having excellent communication skills, asking for assistance and notifying team of problems/issues early
  • Experience in process improvement
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions, tasks and manage work time efficiently
  • Comfortable handling of larger data sets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork
  • Consistent ability to positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment
  • Multitasking skills are a must!
