We are looking for a Digital Acquisitions Specialist to join our Life Sciences & Healthcare Team. This is an amazing opportunity to accelerate innovation for our customers and identify creative solutions to meet their Life Science needs.

As a Digital Acquisitions Specialist, you will generate new business with a focus on small/mid-tier Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Financial and Professional Service companies across North America and work with senior sales leaders, helping them manage the sales process from start to finish!

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 1 year of sales experience

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Degree (BSc.) or equivalent, in Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology related sciences, Life or Medical Sciences
• Business Intelligence sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector
• Selling Software and Services into the Life Science and/or pharmaceutical sectors
• Experience attending industry events and conferences with the aim of business development.
• Experience presenting to senior decision makers.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com, MS Office Suite

What will you be doing in this role?

• Source sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
• Understand customer needs and requirements.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
• Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
