We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Belgrade. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing and investigating security alerts and incidents while also supporting the maturity and operational excellence of our Vulnerability Management Program.

You will be involved in the full incident response lifecycle—from identifying root causes, to applying containment and remediation steps, to producing high‑quality documentation that strengthens our overall security posture.
In parallel, you will help drive visibility, prioritization, and risk‑based decisions across our vulnerability pipeline by collaborating closely with Engineering, IT, and other security teams.

This position also places a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, contributing to playbooks, SOPs, and best practices that help elevate expertise across the broader team.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on incident response and security operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in English

  • Offensive security certification, preferably with a focus on penetration testing

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Contribute to the end‑to‑end Vulnerability Management Program, including asset visibility, vulnerability detection, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
  • Validate asset inventory accuracy, ensuring that systems are correctly tagged, classified, and aligned with internal policies.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of security alerts and incidents to determine the root cause and impact.
  • Utilize incident response plans, including containment, eradication, and recovery strategies.
  • Lead investigations into security breaches and incidents, document findings and recommendations for remediation.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks associated with new projects and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 Security Analysts, helping them enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs and data sources to proactively identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Play a key role in the creation and maintenance of playbooks and SOPs.

About the Team

You will be part of the Clarivate Security Operations team, working closely with other team members and reporting directly to the Manager, Cyber Security.

Hours of work

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
