Clarivate is seeking to hire a Lead Tax Analyst to join our global finance team! This role will be responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day activities of a shared services support team, within India, focusing on U.S. federal and state income tax compliance. The shared services support team will also assist with the U.S. federal and state tax provision, tax accounting, and audit defense. The position will report to the Senior Manager, Tax in India and will work closely with the U.S. income tax compliance and provision teams based in the United States.

What will you be doing in this role?...

  • Prepare U.S. Federal and State & Local Tax (SALT) returns, including all related compliance requirements.

  • Prepare and review book-tax difference calculations as assigned.

  • Prepare quarterly and annual effective tax rate models.

  • Prepare and review taxable income calculations, deferred tax asset/liability and taxes payable balances in compliance with ASC 740.

  • Review account reconciliations for tax general ledger accounts.

  • Review and remit estimated tax payments.

  • Analyze and report cash taxes paid on scheduled basis.

  • Research issues related to tax audits and notices and prepare responses.

  • Provide tax accounting support to financial statement auditors.

  • Identify and implement internal control procedures.

  • Complete tax research and other special projects as assigned.

  • Develop and implement process improvements within scope of duties.

About you – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments…

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry

  • Experience in U.S. corporate income tax compliance

  • Compliance software experience (e.g., OneSource) preferred

  • Must possess excellent documentation skills

  • Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax principles and U.S. GAAP

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and analysis

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to foster a team-oriented environment, working collaboratively with cross-functional departments

It would be great if you also had…

  • EA/or CA/CPA

  • Experience within the data analytics and services industry

  • Experience using Oracle NetSuite and OneStream

  • Experience in accounting for income taxes under ASC 740

  • Big 4 public accounting experience

About The Team

The Global Tax Team is comprised of over 40 tax professionals worldwide. As a member of the U.S. Income Tax Team, you will collaborate with approximately 10-15 colleagues to fulfill the company’s tax reporting and compliance requirements. This role provides the opportunity to work with tax leadership and other departments within Clarivate, contributing to strategic initiatives and ensuring compliance with U.S. tax regulations.

Hours of Work

  • Full Time, primarily aligned to IST working hours, with a required time‑overlap window to interact with U.S.-based tax teams.

  • This is a hybrid role working 3 days a week in our Noida office location
