Tutors provide highly individualized, one-on-one instruction in various subjects, study skills, foreign languages, standardized test prep, and more, in the comfort of students' homes or other designated locations.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site Tutor role located in Charlotte, NC. Tutors will be responsible for providing personalized, one-on-one instruction to students in various subjects, helping them improve their grades, test scores, and study skills. Tutoring sessions may take place in schools, after school facilities, libraries, or community centers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Subject matter expertise in core subjects like reading, mathematics, science, and history
• Experience in standardized test prep, such as ACT and SAT
• Ability to adapt tutoring techniques to individual student needs
• Bachelor's degree or higher in education, relevant subject area, or related field
• Teaching certification or tutoring experience is a plus
