Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced After School Program Teacher to join our team! Our Enrichment Program for kids 4-12 years old will include Homework Assistance, STEM Activities, Music/Dance/Art, Computer Skills, Physical Activity, and more! We are looking for the right person to carry out weekly lesson plans, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for our students.

The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with all students.

Responsibilities

• Follow our curriculum approach
• Picking up children from school & dropping them off at home using company vehicle
• Tutoring Elementary subjects
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and Program Director
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or teaching certification
• Previous experience as a Tutor (1 year minimum)
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and mediation skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable mobile transportation
