Job Description:
The successful candidate will work directly with the Finance Director and the Senior Leadership Team in managing and controlling all aspects of the finance function. They will also be responsible for the business's continuous finance transformation and the finance function's development as we enter new markets.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in budget coordination, business partnering and financial analysis. Additionally they will support the monthly financial reporting process and complete other key tasks.
Location: Hybrid working between our Dublin office and Home
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of month-end management accounts and analysis and reporting of the P&L movements.
- Cash flow preparation and analysis.
- Deliver management reports including commentary on the business drivers behind performance.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Coordination of all daily/weekly/monthly finance functions including settlements, AR, AP, payroll and sales reporting
- Operational tasks including ledger entries & reconciliations.
- Other ad hoc reporting/duties as required.
- Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as required.
- Provide leadership and a source of reference to all direct reports
- Develop a deep understanding of the business operations, including its financial needs, and developing processes to enhance the control environment of the entities.
Required Experience
- Qualified Accountant – ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA) At least 7 years post qualification experience
- Experience with Xero accounting software ( A must-have)
- Strongly numerate and comfortable manipulating data sets;
- Strong communicator,
- Diligence and attention;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Confidence, enthusiasm, energy, hunger to learn;
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated and dynamic – ability to work to deadlines and achieve targets in a time-conscious manner
- Must be able to travel to Head Office 2 days a week
