As we embark on our next phase of growth, Copyleaks is seeking an innovative and strategic VP of Marketing to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth in the B2B SaaS space, with deep expertise in both digital and traditional marketing channels. You will be responsible for shaping our brand, developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy, and leading a diverse marketing team. Your strategic vision, leadership, and ability to leverage data-driven insights to craft compelling narratives will be crucial in elevating our market presence and driving customer acquisition and retention. As VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies that fuel rapid growth and position Copyleaks as a market leader. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

  • You will lead and mentor a marketing team, attract great talent, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • You will collaborate with the sales and product teams to ensure alignment and support across marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • You will spearhead the launch of new product features and services, as well as market expansion.

  • You will build and expand our brand presence through storytelling, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and participation in industry events and conferences.

  • You will oversee direct-to-customer marketing efforts.
    You will manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and growth opportunities.

  • You will utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and refine strategies based on insights and performance metrics.

  • You will stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, and adapt marketing strategies to maintain our competitive edge.

  • You will report on marketing performance and strategic initiatives to the executive team and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Create and execute the overall sales team strategy, including setting and meeting quarterly goals and objectives.

  • Proven history of leading teams to achieve quotas and objectives within enterprise SaaS space.

  • Be comfortable in presenting and talking to customers about our API and LTI integration.

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering/Development, Customer Success teams on various initiatives.

  • You must also be good at creating proposals, diligent at following up with prospects and negotiating agreements.

  • Help create the strategy to reach new markets and set go-to-market strategies for new products or features enhancements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must have 8+ years of demonstrable senior marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record in growth marketing and driving scalable customer acquisition.

  • Deep understanding of growth marketing principles, including lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, funnel optimization, and performance marketing.

  • Proven expertise in designing and executing ABM strategies that drive targeted growth.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), CMS, CRM, and Marketing Automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce etc).

  • Extensive experience across a variety of marketing channels, with a strong focus on digital, SEO, content marketing, product marketing, email campaigns, and event management.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and transform it into actionable insights and growth strategies.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to the evolving needs of a growing startup.

  • This is a hybrid position and candidate must be willing to commute to our office in Manhattan 3x per week.
