About the role
We're thrilled to invite a dedicated counselor and receptionist to join our team at our new Gurgaon office. As the initial point of contact for our company, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere for visitors, clients, and employees. Your exceptional communication and organizational abilities will be fundamental in maintaining the seamless operation of daily tasks and providing exceptional counseling and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Interacting with teachers and staff for query resolution and support.
- Providing technical and non-technical support to center teachers and center students.
- Acting as a counselor for staff when needed.
Staff Interaction:
- Interacting with teachers and staff for query resolution and support.
Calendar Management:
- Managing the Director's schedule and coordinating staff meetings.
Parent-Teacher Meetings:
- Organizing monthly Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
Front Desk Duties:
- Answering phones, welcoming visitors, and managing the reception area.
Inventory Management:
- Maintaining workbook stock and classroom stationery.
Financial Handling:
- Managing renewals, cash transactions, and handling fee-related inquiries.
Student Support
- Managing enrollment forms, creating class schedules, and marking daily attendance.
Communication and Outreach:
- Maintaining social media updates, coordinating with schools and societies, and handling customer inquiries regarding Math Olympiads and referral policies.
Skills & Experiences
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Graduation or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills: Proficient in English (both written and spoken) and the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Professional appearance and demeanor: Must present a friendly and approachable personality to visitors and callers.
- Customer-focused: A commitment to providing excellent customer service and a willingness to go the extra mile to assist others.
- Organizational skills: Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a well-organized workspace.
- Adaptability: Capable of handling unexpected situations with composure and a solution-oriented approach.
- Punctuality: Demonstrates reliability and punctuality in attendance and adheres to scheduled work hours.
