About the Role

-We are looking for a passionate and skilled Software Development Engineer 2 (SDE-2) to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of professional experience in backend development. Experience in Python and the Flask web framework is a plus. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to scalable and high-performance backend systems while collaborating with a talented team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs to support business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Ensure robust security measures in backend architecture and APIs.
• Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high coding standards and best practices

Requirements :

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases(eg: Dynamo).
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems and message queue technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in Flask or similar frameworks.
• Experience working in fast-paced startups or agile development environments.
• Familiarity with other backend frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI).
