Role Summary

As a Senior Curriculum Designer, you will be part of the core team of content developers and subject matter experts who create digital Math learning resources for grades 6-8.

Job Responsibilities

• Research on global best practices in math education across different curriculam.
• Map the curriculum of different countries/boards to standardize content.
• Create engaging math content for young learners to ensure a love for math in students and teachers
• While building content, ensure the connection of mathematics with the real world and other disciplines like language, environmental science, and art
• Take end-to-end responsibility for the digital content for younger grades
• Utilize AI tools efficiently to speed up the content creation process, without compromising on quality
• Collaborate with designers and illustrators to ensure product quality and timely delivery of the same

Skills & Experience

• A thorough understanding of Math concepts up to Grade10
• A thorough understanding of the art and science of how children learn
• Strong written as well as verbal English communication skills
• Familiarity with AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, etc.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative and non-hierarchical team
• Ability to give as well as receive constructive feedback

Qualifications and Experience Required

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelors degree in Mathematics or Engineering
• A degree in education, while not mandatory, will be preferred.

Experience

3-4 years of experience in teaching Math in an international or reputed school, or experience in curriculum development in organizations that cater to the math learning of young learners.
