The Sales Development Trainee supports our sales teams to maintain and boost our current customer base. The Trainees will work closely with the Inside Sales team to establish a baseline in product knowledge while supporting sales function by developing leads, market surveys, customer consultation, and sample product offerings. The Trainee will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sales, while advancing through the program with hands-on experience. The trainee will build skills and gain experience by working closely with multiple functions of the sales organization while exploring a career path in sales. The Sales Development Trainee will be exposed to extensive training, mentorship, and real-world application to help launch careers.

The impact you'll have:

  • Execute various sales projects including but not limited to: Event Invitations, Market Discovery, and strategic email/calling campaigns.

  • Proactively contact existing and potential new customers using various outreach methods, including phone calls, emails, video platforms.

  • Develop and refine foundational sales skills by participating in ongoing sales training and practice sessions.

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through effective communication.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.

  • Able to work at least 12 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Strong listening and communication skills- both oral and written.

  • Strong interpersonal skills- build trust and confidence among team.

  • Represent CA’s core values- demonstrate integrity, ethical standards, and a professional demeanor.

  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.

Travel: <5%

Physical Demands: Typical office environment.

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay – This role’s base pay is $16/hr. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.


Benefits - Temporary and per diem employees who average, and maintain, at least 30 hours of work per week may become eligible for medical coverage, under the Affordable Care Act, after an initial waiting period. Temporary and per-diem employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible for twelve paid holidays. All temporary and per-diem employees are eligible for accrued sick time.
